Customer Review: A great multi-purpose pad

These are great. They work as hot pads and as trivets. You must avoid gripping these pads with your fingertips when moving very hot items--your fingertips will push into the depressions and you can get toasty fingertips. But if you have a bit of experience in the kitchen are mindful of this issue, they're great--perhaps not a great choice for a novice. They also work well to help gripping slippery jar lids.
